SERT expands Cleanroom Facility
May 2006 -- SERT Systems Public Relations representative
Susan Day announced today, the expansion of SERT's Refurbishment Facility
located in Research Triangle Park, NC. The additional 3000 square foot
class 100 cleanroom will allow for additional, virtually particle free, floor
space that will improve the lead time for system refurbishments. Current
lead times for system install in the SERT cleanroom, refurbishment, and
preparation for shipment to the customer has been cut almost in half.
Additionally, the certified class 100 room ensures the entire refurbishment and
qualification process is performed in an environment that is as clean and
particle free as possible. With this expansion, SERT has stepped up and
listened to customer requests for quicker system refurbishments and leveraged
itself as a leader in its market.
